Useful Syntax for Successful Writing

SYNTAX THEORY: Sentences can be divided into:

• Type of sentence by STRUCTURE

1- SIMPLE sentence
2- COMPOUND sentence
3- COMPLEX sentence
4- COMPLEX-COMPOUND sentence

• Type of sentence by PURPOSE

1- DECLARATIVE sentence
2- INTERROGATIVE  sentence
3- EXCLAMATORY sentence
4- IMPERATIVE sentence

WRITING PRACTICE: When writing a NARRATIVE you have to take into account that there are FOUR TYPES OF SENTENCES that can help you enrich your piece of writing.
REMEMBER THAT IF YOU IMPROVE YOUR SENTENCES, THE FINAL OUTCOME WILL BE BETTER!!
